Sendera Ranch Elementary and J.C. Thompson Elementary are teaming up for the 10,000 for the Troops holiday card drive, in partnership with KSCS 96.3’s Hawkeye in the Morning and Support Our Soldiers (SOS).

Last year, Sendera Ranch made and collected over 1,000 cards to send to U.S. troops who were away from home during the holidays. This year, Sendera and Thompson hope to double that collection, with a goal of 2,000 cards.

Anyone who would like to help Sendera and Thompson reach their goal of 2,000 cards is welcome to participate! Parents and siblings of Sendera and Thompson students may send any home-made cards to school with their student. They will be able to place the cards in the appropriate collection box.

Other NISD schools can participate as well! Sendera is an official KSCS collection center, and will have a box out front or in their foyer where cards can be dropped off. Schools may also interoffice cards to Sendera. Card collection will start October 3 and end November 4.
